This week's featured guest is the one, the only, John Mueller from Google. If you don't know, John is the Senior Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google. He’s been working at Google since September of 2007. He works together with the Webmaster Central, Sitemaps, and Search Quality teams at Google and helps to make sure that information flows freely between webmasters and the engineers at Google. The Google Update that Wasn’t

The chatter began flying fast and furious about a possible update to the Google Search Algorithm on Saturday August 15, and it looked like a big one. But by Tuesday it was called a “glitch.”

Search Engine Journal confirms that Apple Safari will allow Google Analytic data to be tracked when users choose their browser.

And according to Impact, Google is launching “Keen” - which appears to be a hyper-local / hyper-hobby focused photos and social app, similar to Facebook Groups or Pinterest.
